Your first round starts here.
Set up in about five minutes. Guests join from one link, with no app or account.
Before the party
- Make your party. Choose Birthday or Bridal Shower, add the guest of honour's name, and write 3 to 10 trivia questions with one true answer and two wrong ones.
- Save your private host link. It's your remote control: it opens, closes and reveals the games. Don't share it.
- Share the guest link in your group chat, or show it on the day.
- Want phones away? Unlock the $9.99 printable pack from your host desk, then print at 100% (“Actual size”). Thick paper (200–300 gsm) makes the best cards.
On the day
- Open the phone games from your host desk. Guests pick a nickname and play at their own pace.
- Start with mingle bingo while people arrive. It gets everyone talking.
- When you're ready, close the games, then reveal answers and scores together.
- Group games like Charades use one phone (or the printed cards) and you judge the points.
The games
Personal Trivia · Every guest, on paper or phone · About 10 minutes
- Write your name, then circle one answer for every question.
- Each correct answer earns 1 point.
- Not sure? Guess. A blank scores 0.
- The host reads the answers from the private key.
- Highest score wins. Ties share the win.
Mingle Bingo · Every guest, one board each · 15–30 minutes, at your own pace
- Find a guest who fits a square. Hear their story.
- Write their name in that square. One square per person.
- The centre square is free.
- Five in a row, column or diagonal: shout BINGO.
- The host checks your names. First valid line wins.
Read the Room · Every guest, 1 card per dilemma · About 1 minute per card
- Read the dilemma aloud.
- Everyone secretly picks A or B, then predicts the crowd's choice.
- Reveal by a show of hands.
- Correct crowd prediction = 1 point. A tie scores both sides.
- Most points after all cards wins.
Party Charades · 2 teams, 1 actor per turn · 60 seconds per card
- The actor reads the card without showing anyone.
- Act it out. No words, sounds, spelling or pointing at objects.
- Your team guesses before the minute ends.
- Correct guess = 1 point. You may pass once per turn.
- Swap actors each turn. Most points after equal turns wins.
Five-Second Frenzy · Any number, turn by turn · 5 seconds per card
- Someone reads the card aloud and counts down from five.
- Name three answers before time runs out.
- The group decides if the answers count.
- Three valid answers = 1 point. Passing scores 0.
- Most points after everyone has had equal turns wins.
Beat the Word · A circle of 2–20 players plus a judge · Until someone slips (optional 30-second clock)
- Keep a steady beat (clap, or use the on-screen beat). Read the category.
- On your beat, say one NEW answer that fits. The turn moves on every beat.
- Repeat, miss the beat or give an answer that doesn't fit: the round ends.
- Whoever slipped loses the round and starts the next one.
- Timed mode: survive 30 seconds with no slips and everyone scores 1 point.
Reverse Charades · 2 teams of 3 or more · 60-second rounds
- One player guesses. The rest of their team acts.
- The guesser must not see the card.
- Act silently. No words or spelling.
- Correct guess = 1 point, then grab the next card. Pass anytime.
- Rotate the guesser. Most points after equal rounds wins.
Secret Signal · 4–12 players plus a host · About 5 minutes per round
- The host secretly shows the card to everyone except one outsider.
- Each player gives one short clue about the secret word.
- The outsider bluffs a clue without knowing the word.
- Everyone votes. Catch the outsider: group wins 1 point each.
- If the outsider escapes or guesses the word, they win 2 points.
Truth or Bluff · 1 storyteller, the group guesses · Up to 90 seconds per story
- Read the card. Secretly choose to tell a true story or invent one.
- Tell it with a straight face.
- The group votes: truth or bluff?
- Each correct voter gets 1 point. Fool the majority: you get 2.
- Most points wins. Pass if a topic feels too personal.
Memory Lane · Any group, taking turns · 1–2 minutes per card
- Draw a card and read it aloud.
- Share a kind story, memory or prediction.
- Others may add their own version.
- No points and no winner. It's about the stories.
- Pass freely. Nobody has to share.
Keep it kind
Only use facts the guest of honour would be happy to hear out loud. Anyone can pass on any card. Events and their answers are deleted after 30 days.
